MUSIC & THEATER

Choir

Krys has been singing since age 3 and was trained with the late Dr. Dan Jackson (Mt. Whitney High School, Point Loma University) and Jeff Seaward (College of the Sequoias). In 2003 she participated in the All-State Honor choir. She was a part of multiple ACDA competitions through California, as well as San Antonio Texas.

While at COS, she was one of the Soprano soloist understudies for the performance of Giuseppe Verdi's Requiem (2007) while on tour with the College of the Sequoias Master Chorale. On the same tour, [the choir] performed a series of concerts under direction of Grammy-winning Composer and Maestro, Eric Whitacre.

Krys was also the featured Soprano soloist for the Sequoia Chamber Chorale's 2015 performance of Mozart's Coronation Mass, under the direction of Maestro Jeff Seward.

Theater

Krys studied theater while attending College of the Sequoias, and was trained by Prof. James McDonnell and (performed alongside) Prof. Chris Mangels.
